Sullivan’s Island is a barrier islands, just 15 minutes from downtown Charleston. Both Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms are bordered on the southeast by the Atlantic Ocean and on the northwest by the Intercostals Waterway. With over 10 miles of sandy beaches, beautiful mashes and a community feel, these islands have given its resident can escape from urban living since the 1800’s. Sullivan’s Island, is an established residential and vacation community, with quaint shops, local restaurants, and pubs, but no hotels, motels, or bed and breakfasts. The lack of commercialization on Sullivan’s island is something that is not found in many places. Most homes range from $1 to $7 million.
