A huge selling feature of the Longpoint neighborhood is that it shares a turnoff with Palmetto Islands County Park, providing easy walking or biking access to this 943-acre park. The park provides miles of bicycle and walking paths, boardwalks, picnic sites, a playground, dog park, boat rentals and the summer-favorite Splash Island Waterpark. Amenities within the neighborhood include a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, sand volley ball court, soccer field, and play area.

Longpointis a large neighborhood made up of 4 subsections. Rice Hope, The Enclave, Mount Royall and Plantation view. The houses are a mixture of starter homes to executivehomes. Some of the larger waterfront homes boast docks and gorgeous panoramic marsh views of Horlbeck Creek. House sizes range anywhere from 1200 sq. ft. to just over 4000 sq. ft with larger than usual lots. Most homes were built in the late 1980s to early 2000s.
